The Farm
Foolish Luck Farm & Sanctuary is a 15 acre facility for rescue, retirement and lay-up board located in Western North Carolina. We are a 501c3 non-profit facility offering boarding services as an income-generating activity to help support the rescued animals on the farm.
We are devoted to full retirements, lay-ups and performance horses in the off-season. Foolish Luck Farm & Sanctuary accepts any horse from all disciplines - pleasure, companion, racing, polo, dressage, barrel racers, or steeplechase. |

We do not train horses, offer riding lessons, or lease horses for trail rides. We focus on our horse retirement stables and lay-ups to ensure we are meeting our customers' expectations. We are personally involved in the operation of the farm and care of your horse.
Our location is ideal for the retired horse because the Western North Carolina has milder winters than the north and cooler and less humid summers than the south.
